A Modified Customization Strategy in a Dual-Channel Supply Chain Model with Price-Sensitive Stochastic Demand and Distribution-Free Approach

With the advancement of technology, many companies provide customization facilities to customers. This facility provides a vast variety customers which enhances level customer satisfaction. approach helps various technologically advanced increase their profit. In this paper, dual-channel supply chain model is developed with aforementioned strategy target increasing profit firm. dual-channel, core or standard product provided through traditional retail channel, whereas customized made available online channel. article incorporates modification in existing policy on number that switch between offline and channels. Moreover, preassigned threshold value also assumed signifies decrease demand takes place if difference selling price channels crosses fixed specified value. addition that, due fluctuation uncertainty demand, both variability randomness may occur simultaneously.
